Collection includes letters and press releases, a pamphlet is from the exhibition "May Stevens: Images of Women Near and Far" at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, in 1999, a postcard depicting Stevens lithograph Pearl from the Mary Ryan Gallery, magazine articles from FlashArt, ARTNews, Art On Paper, THE Magazine, New Yorker, Art in America, Ms, Heresies, and Art New England. There are also newspaper articles from the New York Times, the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald, and the Patriot Ledger (Quincy, Massachusetts) and book chapters from Steven's "My Work and My Working Class Father," in Redefining American History Painting, edited by Patricia Burnham and Lucretia Giese, and "May Stevens: Painting History as a Lived Feminist Experience," by Patricia Hills in Working It Out, edited by Sara Ruddick and Pamela Daniels.
